12 Month Agreements

What is it?

The EKG Lawn Experience is a 12-month lawn maintenance agreement service plan that focuses on keeping your lawn beautifully maintained.

What is the purpose?

The sole purpose and point of the EKG Lawn Experience is to keep your lawn and curb appeal looking top notch year-round, with no questions asked. We would rather you enjoy more time with your family and friends. With time being so precious in life we want to allow you to have more time by removing the stress of lawn maintenance from your long and always growing to-do-list.

How does it work?

The EKG Lawn Experience agreement service plans run for an entire year. We add up the total services for the year and divide them up over 12 months giving us a flat monthly rate. We require a credit card on file, and we automatically charge the card on the first of each month. When you sign up, we assign you a day of service for each week. This day is NOT guaranteed as the schedule can fluctuate due to weather and other circumstances, but we try to stay true to our service days as it makes our lives easier as well.

What is included?

• Mowing the lawn on a weekly basis. Mowing includes trimming, edging of mulch beds and hard surfaces, and blowing off all hard surfaces including front and back decks. As for the mowing height EKG Lawn mows to their discretion, and we switch the mow direction every visit to prevent turf damage.
• Mulch bed maintenance is maintaining the weeds in your mulch beds by various means of hand pulling, string trimming, and glyphosate applications to kill the weeds. We also maintain any decorative rock areas, curbs, sidewalks, and driveways of weeds. Being sure that weeds are not growing through the cracks. Raking up or picking-up sticks and debris as needed is also included in mulch bed maintenance.
• Trimming shrubs 2-3 times per year at the discretion of EKG Lawn as certain plants have certain requirements and time windows for pruning. Winter pruning and deadheading of flowers is also included in the price of shrub trimming. (We DO NOT prune Crepe Myrtles or limb trees in our agreements). Although, we may remove lower limbs that get in the way of us mowing.
• On-going leaf cleanup is just that, we continue to come and blow leaves until all leaves have stopped falling. On-going leaf cleanup is done on a biweekly basis after Thanksgiving. In the earlier stages of fall when leaf litter is not as heavy, we may blow the leaves to the beds until the bulk of the leaves drop which then we will remove the leaves or blow them to their destination (the woods). If you have leaf removal included in your agreement, then leaves will be blown somewhere on the property and removed once the bulk is down. We try to do 1 removal right before Thanksgiving and another right before Christmas, but this all depends on the weather. Also due to the heavy volume most on-going cleanups are done on a biweekly basis.
• Winter visits, which include January-March, are only 1-2 visits per month to do any necessary trimming, pruning, deadheading or cleanup. Many shrubs like to be trimmed in late winter. We could also start mowing in March depending on the weather.
